This property consists of 151 unpatented mining claims (2,779 acres or approximately 11km2) and is located in the Tallahassee Creek area 35 miles by road northwest of Canon City. These claim blocks are adjacent to the Black Range controlled Hansen Uranium Deposit which hosts approximately 30 million pounds of U3O8 and the Taylor Ranch Uranium Project, which hosts 60 million pounds of U3O8 JORC Code compliant indicated and inferred resources. The Hansen deposit was fully permitted for mining in the early1980s but never put into operation due to the global uranium price collapsed at the time. The combined Taylor Ranch/Hansen Uranium Project is one of the largest uranium projects within the USA. An exploration permit has been approved by the State and the BLM and currently beginning the county approval process.
